Overview

The Jefferson Center for Interprofessional Practice & Education is proud to present our 9th biennial conference, which showcases scholarly work and work in progress related to interprofessional education, practice, research, and advocacy.

The conference provides the opportunity to connect and collaborate with interprofessional colleagues from around the country and allows attendees to develop best practices to advance the field.

The conference highlights innovative interprofessional competency development, program implementation, and evaluation strategies. Educators, clinicians, practitioners, health system leaders, policymakers, patients, students, and other stakeholders interested in teamwork throughout the health and social services fields are invited to attend.

Successful Completion
To successfully complete this activity, the required evaluation must be completed no later than Friday, May 8, 2026. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the stated deadline.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, healthcare team members will be able to:

  1. Describe strategies for developing interprofessional competencies across the continuum of learners.
  2. Discuss best practices for team-based care and interprofessional education in practice settings.
  3. Identify approaches to building the evidence base to demonstrate that interprofessional practice and education enhance outcomes and health equity for patients and populations.

Accreditation



In support of improving patient care, Thomas Jefferson University is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.



Physicians: This educational activity is designated for a maximum of 10.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses: This activity awards 10.50 nursing contact hours.

Credits will be uploaded to CPE Monitor within 60 days following the completion of the activity. Thomas Jefferson University has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. Cancellation Policy
Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing and received in the Office of CPD two weeks prior to the start date of the course. There will be no refunds after this period.*  Cancellations notified before the two week time frame will incur a 25% administration fee (with a minimum of $20).  Registrants who fail to attend the conference are responsible for the entire fee.  All refunds will be processed after the conference.  The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone this course due to unforeseen circumstances.  In the event of cancellation or postponement, the University will refund registration fees, but is not responsible for related costs or expenses to participants, including cancellation fees assessed by hotels, airlines or travel agencies.
