Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I see my evaluation?

If you do not see your evaluation, there are three possible reasons:

  1. Your attendance was not recorded.
    Send email to [email protected].
  2. Your attendance was recorded using a different account.
    Your attendance is recorded using the email provided at registration. If you are a Jefferson employee, your Jefferson email is the default email. If you have multiple accounts, send email to [email protected].
  3. The evaluation due date has passed.
    The evaluation due date is posted for each activity. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the posted due date.
Claim Credit — Live or Live-Virtual Activity

To claim credit for a live or live-virtual activity, you must be registered and marked as attended. The evaluation required to claim credit must be completed by the posted due date.

Step 2: Click Sign In on the top left using your email address and password.

Step 4: Click the Evaluation & Certificates button.

Step 5: You can view all the activities you have completed and download certificates.

How to Check In for Grand Rounds, Case Conferences, and/or Live Activities
  1. Via mobile app
    In your browser, search CloudCME® check in or CloudCME® mobile app and download to your Apple or Android device(s) to access the Check-in menu and scan a QR code. Use organization code Jefferson. The QR code will only work using the CloudCME app.
  2. Via text message
    A distinct code will be provided for each Grand Rounds, Case Conference, and/or Live activities. If this is the first time you are texting your attendance, you must first pair your mobile number to your account. Text your email address to: (844) 986-0352 to opt in to the text message attendance program. You will receive a text notification indicating your phone number has been updated. Once your account is paired to your mobile number and you have obtained the event code, send the code via text to: (844) 986-0352.
    Note: Attendance can only be recorded 60 minutes prior to the activity start time, during the activity, and up to 2 days (2880 minutes) after the activity closes.
CloudCME Mobile App

The CloudCME® mobile app provides quick access to most CloudCME® functions: view content, perform CE tasks, see listings of activities, check in to activities, and—after events—complete evaluations and claim credit.

Pair mobile phone for SMS texting

These instructions assume that you have an active account in CloudCME®. If you do not, please set up your account first.

You can only record your attendance 60 minutes prior to the meeting, during the activity, or 2,880 minutes (2 days) after the meeting.

Step 1: Pair your mobile phone to your CloudCME® account. Text your profile email address to (844) 986-0352 to opt in to the text message attendance program. You will receive a text message confirming your phone number has been updated. This is a one-time operation.

Step 2: Record attendance by texting the Activity ID that has been provided for your activity. You will receive a confirmation text that your attendance has been recorded.

Notes:

  • If you receive an incomplete profile message, add your Degree and/or Profession to your CloudCME® profile and try again.
  • You can only record attendance once for an activity. Duplicate attempts will return a warning text.
  • If you attempt to record attendance for an activity for which you are not registered, you will receive a warning text.
Update my profile

Via Computer

Step 1: https://jefferson.cloud-cme.com/

Step 2: Click Sign In, and sign in using your email address and password.

Step 3: Click the My CE button.

Step 4: Click the Profile button.

Step 5: Complete all fields. NOTE: Fields marked with an asterisk are required. You must select your Degree and Profession to receive the correct credit type upon activity completion.

Pharmacists
Include in your profile:

  • NABP ePID #
  • Date of Birth (MM/DD)

If missing, credits cannot be submitted to CPE Monitor®.

ABS Diplomates
Include in your profile:

  • Month and day of birth
  • Permission to share this information with the ACCME and the ABS

If missing, credits cannot be submitted to the ACCME and the ABS.

Password
SSO requires your @jefferson.edu password. For assistance resetting your Jefferson password, contact the IS&T Solution Center at (215) 503-7975. You will not see the Reset My Password option if your account uses SSO.

Step 6: When all information has been entered, click Submit at the bottom of the screen.

Via CloudCME App

Step 1: Open the CloudCME App.

Step 2: Login using your email address and password.

Step 3: Select My Profile on the menu, if available.

Access my transcripts

Via Computer

Step 1: https://jefferson.cloud-cme.com/

Step 2: Click Sign In, and sign in using your email address and password.

Step 3: Click the My CE button.

Step 4: Click the Transcript button.

Step 5: Select a date range (Start/End Date) or filter by Credit Type and click Apply. You can also email or download your transcript.

Get a copy of my registration and receipt

Note: Registrations and receipts are not available through the CloudCME app.

Step 2: Click Sign In on the top left using your email address and password.

Step 3: Click the My CE button.

Step 4: Click Registrations & Receipts.

Step 5: View all activities you have registered for and, if an activity has a fee, click the Receipt button to view your receipt.

Step 6: Review receipt details for the activity, including payment information.

Step 7: To email a receipt, enter the destination email address and click Send.

Access syllabus/presentations

Step 4: Click Syllabus.

Step 5: Click the Syllabus button next to the activity to view the syllabus.

Step 1: Open the CloudCME App.

Step 2: Login using your email address and password.

Step 3: Select Syllabus from the menu.

Access evaluations and certificates

Step 2: Click Sign In using your email address and password.

Step 3: Click the My CE button.

Step 4: Click Evaluations & Certificates. Here, you can view and complete evaluations or email certificates for activities that have already been completed.

Via CloudCME App

Step 2: Open the app, use organization code Jefferson.

Step 3: Login using the email address used to register for the conference.

Step 4: Select My Evaluations on the menu.

Why does Jefferson CloudCME use SSO?

With SSO, Jefferson users can authenticate using a single password for all Jefferson applications. Users are more likely to secure passwords and less likely to write them down, which reduces risk. SSO also provides access to discounted employee rates for activities.

I don't remember my Jefferson password. What do I do?

Single Sign On (SSO) authentication requires the use of your @jefferson.edu password. For assistance resetting your Jefferson password, contact the IS&T Solution Center at (215) 503-7975.

Do I have to use my @jefferson.edu email address to login?

No. You do not have to use your @jefferson.edu email address to log in to Jefferson CloudCME. However, using your Jefferson email identifies you as a Jefferson employee, which provides access to discounted employee registration rates for activities.

I just logged in using SSO and all of my past credits are missing. What happened?

If you logged in through SSO and your account shows no credit earned even though you previously had credit, you most likely have a duplicate account that does not use your @jefferson.edu email. Send an email to [email protected] for help.

CME Data Reporting (effective July 1, 2023)

Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) Office of Continuing Professional Development (OCPD) transmits credits for all U.S. physicians who successfully complete a TJU-accredited activity to the ACCME Program. CME credit data submitted to ACCME can be viewed, managed, and tracked by U.S. physicians in CME Passport, a free, centralized web application.

IMPORTANT: If you do NOT wish for your credits to be transmitted to JAPARS/CME Passport, you must OPT OUT within your CE portal account profile.
To opt out: https://jefferson.cloud-cme.com/ > Sign In > My CE > Profile and uncheck the permission box at the bottom of the screen.

American Board of Surgery Diplomates

As of July 1, 2023, the American Board of Surgery (ABS) retired the manual reporting feature (the ability to individually input CME information into the ABS portal). CME providers are required to transmit all ABS-related CME credits to the ACCME PARS system within 30 days of successful completion of a CME activity. You must be opted in through the CE portal for your credit to be transmitted to PARS/ABS.
