Overview

This half-day hybrid conference offers a comprehensive and interactive exploration of bronchiectasis and non-tuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infection.

Participants will gain practical insights through case-based sessions, expert-led presentations, and breakout workshops. Topics will include diagnostic challenges, disease overlaps, work up, exacerbation management, prevention strategies, and emerging therapies, with ample opportunity for participant questions and discussions.

Designed for pulmonologists, infectious disease specialists, allied health providers, and trainees, this event promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and provides the latest clinical knowledge and tools to enhance patient outcomes.

Successful Completion
To successfully complete this activity, the required evaluation must be completed no later than Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the stated deadline.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, healthcare team members will be able to:

  1. Differentiate bronchiectasis from asthma and COPD using clinical, radiologic, and microbiologic criteria.
  2. Describe the pathogenesis of bronchiectasis and conduct an appropriate diagnostic work-up.
  3. Assess the clinical significance of chronic bacterial colonization and interpret sputum characteristics in bronchiectasis.
  4. Design management strategies for acute exacerbations and long-term care of bronchiectasis, including airway clearance and chronic antibiotic use.
  5. Diagnose and manage NTM pulmonary disease, including complex and refractory cases, with an emphasis on individualized treatment plans.
  6. Apply knowledge gained from clinical case discussions to enhance decision-making in the care of patients with bronchiectasis and NTM infections.
