This symposium will provide local physicians, non-physician clinicians, and other healthcare professionals with the latest advances in anorectal disease, breast cancer, urology, gender affirmation and vascular surgery, and nerve repair, primarily focusing on the most recent advances in robotics and other surgical technology. Attendees will be able to participate in the interactive panel discussions throughout the day.

There is a change in location for this activity. The activity will now be held virtually and in person at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital.

Successful Completion
To successfully complete this activity, the required evaluation must be completed no later than Friday, November 29, 2024. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the stated deadline.

1. Discuss new treatments and surgical advancements in the management of cancer patients.
2. List the benefits of robotic surgery.
3. Explain the newest treatments in the management of patients with manifestations of vascular disease.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing and received in the Office of CPD two weeks prior to the start date of the course. There will be no refunds after this period.*  Cancellations notified before the two week time frame will incur a 25% administration fee (with a minimum of $20).  Registrants who fail to attend the conference are responsible for the entire fee.  All refunds will be processed after the conference.  The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone this course due to unforeseen circumstances.  In the event of cancellation or postponement, the University will refund registration fees, but is not responsible for related costs or expenses to participants, including cancellation fees assessed by hotels, airlines or travel agencies.

*Registration fees will be refunded less a 15% administration fee to international conference registrants who are unable to secure a travel visa. Registrants must provide proof of visa denial.

Exhibiting companies are solely responsible for collecting any information about actions within their virtual exhibit space that constitutes a payment or transfer of value to a covered participant, which is required to reported under the Sunshine Act.

Application Deadline

Cancellation and Refunds
In the event that the symposium is canceled by the organizers, exhibit fees will be refunded in full, however Thomas Jefferson University is not responsible for other expenses incurred by the exhibitor.
 
In the event an exhibitor cancels participation, refunds will be made as follows:

• Prior to the deadline of October 25, 2024 a refund will be given minus a 10% administration fee.
• After October 25, 2024 no refund will be given.
• Exhibitors who are absent from the conference will not receive a refund.
• Exhibit cancellations must be made in writing.
