Overview

This active learning format will feature lectures on the latest research and advances presently available to patients with a variety of gynecologic cancers. The meeting will review emerging novel therapies, therapeutic developments, surgical techniques and the latest clinical research findings from "bench to bedside" for improving patient outcomes. Panel discussions will provide participants the opportunity to examine challenging cases from multiple perspectives and gain an in depth understanding of how experienced healthcare providers approach difficult patient care decisions.

Successful Completion
To successfully complete this activity, the required evaluation must be completed no later than Sunday, March 26, 2023. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the stated deadline.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Explain diagnostic and therapeutic options available for the treatment and management of gynecologic malignancies.
  2. Formulate the appropriate management plans based on pathology of gynecologic malignant disease.
  3. Describe the latest radiation and surgical techniques and novel therapies for advanced gynecologic malignancies.

Accreditation

 

In support of improving patient care, Thomas Jefferson University is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

Physicians: This educational activity is designated for a maximum of 2.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses: This activity awards 2.50 nursing contact hours. 

Other Healthcare Professionals: This educational activity is designated for 2.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit TM. Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Other Credit Types

Cancellation Policy

Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing and received in the Office of CPD two weeks prior to the start date of the course. There will be no refunds after this period.*  Cancellations notified before the two week time frame will incur a 25% administration fee (with a minimum of $20).  Registrants who fail to attend the conference are responsible for the entire fee.  All refunds will be processed after the conference.  The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone this course due to unforeseen circumstances.  In the event of cancellation or postponement, the University will refund registration fees, but is not responsible for related costs or expenses to participants, including cancellation fees assessed by hotels, airlines or travel agencies.

In the event an exhibitor cancels participation, refunds will be made as follows:

  • Prior to the deadline of Thursday, January 26, 2023, a refund will be given minus a $200 administration fee.
  • After Thursday, January 26, 2023, no refund will be given.
  • Exhibitors who are absent from the conference will not receive a refund.
