Overview
This course provides all inclusive learning experience for medical injectors, focusing on lip anatomy, injection technique, and adverse events. The experience will include both didactic and hands-on training, where learners will be guided by an advanced aesthetic injector and have the ability to ask questions.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate proficient lip filler injection technique.
  2. Explain detailed lip anatomy and proper lip filler injection technique.
  3. Analyze lip filler adverse events and appropriate treatment.

Successful Completion
To successfully complete this activity, the required evaluation must be completed no later than Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the stated deadline.


Accreditation

 

In support of improving patient care, Thomas Jefferson University is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physicians: This educational activity is designated for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
