AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (40.00 hours), ABS CC (40.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (40.00 hours)

Test-item writing is an activity wherein physicians learn through their contribution to the development (and review) of examinations, or certain peer-reviewed self-assessment activities, by researching, drafting, and defending potential test-items. 

Test development committees, made up of medical school faculty and practicing physicians from institutions around the country, work with NBME staff to create many of the questions that appear on the USMLE®, Subject Exams, and other NBME assessments.

In support of improving patient care, Thomas Jefferson University is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

Physicians: This educational activity is designated for a maximum of 40.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ^TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Other Healthcare Professionals: This educational activity is designated for 40.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit ^TM. Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
