Overview

This symposium will introduce the latest developments kidney disease as presented by experts in the field of Nephrology & Transplantation. Treating kidney disease as can be a complex issue and patient problems are diverse, necessitating a team approach with differing expertise and skills. Attendees will be able to participate in the interactive panel discussions throughout the day.

Successful Completion
To successfully complete this activity, the required evaluation must be completed no later than Thursday, October 9, 2025. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the stated deadline.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, healthcare team members will be able to:

  1. Explain the kidney allocation policies and changing donor pool.
  2. List recent updates in transplantation which have advanced the field.
  3. Identify surgical considerations, medications, long term medical follow up in transplantation.
  4. Describe benefits of living kidney transplantation and how to self-advocate.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing and received in the Office of CPD two weeks prior to the start date of the course. There will be no refunds after this period.*  Cancellations notified before the two week time frame will incur a 25% administration fee (with a minimum of $20).  Registrants who fail to attend the conference are responsible for the entire fee.  All refunds will be processed after the conference.  The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone this course due to unforeseen circumstances.  In the event of cancellation or postponement, the University will refund registration fees, but is not responsible for related costs or expenses to participants, including cancellation fees assessed by hotels, airlines or travel agencies.

  • After September 5, 2025 no refund will be given.

  • Exhibitors who are absent from the conference will not receive a refund.
