Radiation Therapy and Side Effect Management (July 2024-June 2025)

The Radiation Oncology Lunch and Learn series will be used to educate the participants on the latest radiation therapy treatment techniques and the management of side effects as a result of those treatments. 

1. Describe radiation therapy treatment techniques and processes.
2. Examine elaborate radiation induced side effects.

 

In support of improving patient care, Thomas Jefferson University is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

Physicians: This educational activity is designated for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ^TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses: This activity awards 1.00 nursing contact hours.
