AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), ABS CC (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours), PA Patient Safety and Risk Credit (1.00 hours)

Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in establishing and maintaining their basic competency. Facilitate physician and other healthcare professional performance beyond their basic competency. Assist participants in effectively evaluating their own educational efforts.

1. Identify recent advances and developments in Family Medicine.
2. Discuss Family Medicine recent advances and developments and their application to clinical practice
3. Identify a patient safety topic that is relevant to any issues that occur in the hospital.
4. The presentation will include a review of evidence based literature and recommendations to address patient safety and quality issues.

In support of improving patient care, Thomas Jefferson University is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

Physicians: This educational activity is designated for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ^TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

PA Patient Safety and Risk Credit: This education activity offers 1.0  PA Patient Safety and Risk credit. Qualifying sessions are noted on the agenda.

Successful Completion

To successfully complete this activity, the required program valuation must be completed annually.
