Keynote: Clifford Hudis, MD, FACP, FASCO

Dr. Hudis is the CEO of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and serves as executive vice chair of its Conquer Cancer Foundation. He oversees a staff of about 500 who serve a global membership of over 50,000 investigators and clinicians as they seek to reduce the burden of cancer through research, education, and the delivery of the highest quality care possible. ASCO holds the one of the world’s largest annual meetings focused on cancer research and care, publishes the high impact Journal of Clinical Oncology (and associated titles), supports and conducts research, defines optimal quality of care, and advocates for access for all. ASCO’s foundation, Conquer Cancer, funds more early-career physician scientists, without limits on geography or focus area, than any other independent cancer organization worldwide.

Prior to assuming his roles at ASCO in 2016, Dr. Hudis was the Chief of the Breast Cancer Medicine Service, Solid Tumor Division, and an Attending Physician at the Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases and a Professor of Medicine at the Joan & Sanford Weill Medical College of Cornell University Medical College both in New York City. Over nearly three decades, his team identified novel risk factors for cancer linked to inflammation and obesity and developed new drugs (G-CSF, taxanes, anti-HER2 agents) and regimens that raised the global standard of care across all stages of breast cancer.

Designed by the Jefferson Medical Oncology Department, this conference offers a prime opportunity for organizations to connect directly with oncology professionals. Attendees include faculty and clinical teams seeking the latest innovations that support cancer care, patient management, and clinical research.

Exhibitors gain visibility with clinicians who are actively integrating new therapies and technologies into practice. Throughout the day, there are multiple touchpoints to:

  • Showcase products and educational materials

  • Highlight solutions that enhance clinical decision-making

The conference delivers focused updates on emerging cancer therapies, supportive care strategies, and the evolving treatment landscape—attracting oncology teams looking to explore advancements shaping the future of practice.
