Overview

The Operational Excellence (OpX) Boot Camp is an intensive and interactive virtual 2-day program. Participants will learn to apply lean thinking, process improvement & change management strategies to increase operational efficiency within an organization.

Successful Completion

To successfully complete this activity, the required evaluation must be completed no later than Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Thereafter, the evaluation will no longer be available and credits will not be issued. No refunds will be offered for failure to complete the required evaluation by the stated deadline.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, healthcare team members will be able to:

  1. Develop a strategic, systematic approach for evaluating and addressing operationalopportunities for improvement into the care setting.
  2. Identify how to integrate quality, safety, and transformation/change management tools to promote efficiency.
  3. Identify key examples of Leadership Character and Styles to grow high performingteams.
  4. Evaluate change leadership tools to ensure sustainability of change initiatives.

Accreditation

 

In support of improving patient care, Thomas Jefferson University is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physicians: This educational activity is designated for a maximum of 11.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
