Adam Binder MD, is an Associate Professor and Quality Officer for the division of hematologic malignancies at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University.

Dr. Binder is starting his 5th year here at Jefferson. Clinically he focuses on caring for patients with Plasma Cell Dyscrasias including Multiple Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis. During his other time, he works on process improvement initiatives, patient safety, and healthcare innovation. He has a particular interest in site of care delivery and has worked on multiple initiatives to allow patients to have the option to receive chemotherapy at home as opposed to the hospital setting. He is working in an interprofessional team to improve management of patients with cancer who develop sepsis. The team has successfully improved time to antibiotics on the bone marrow transplant unit and is now working to streamline outpatient management of sepsis in patients with cancer. In addition to his work at Jefferson, he serves as the Chair of the Quality Measurement Oversight Subcommittee, Member of the Committee on Quality for the American Society of Hematology. He also serves as a Quality Coach for the American Society of Clinical Oncology Quality Training Program.
